Entering your product for consideration in the 2019 sofi Awards is a three-step process:

Step 1: Complete online entry
Step 2: Submit payment
Step 3: Send product samples

STEP 1: COMPLETE ONLINE ENTRY

  1. Entries open February 1st at sofiawards.com
  2. Click “enter now” in the menu
  3. Log in using your specialtyfood.com username and password
  4. Create a new entry and complete the form between February 1st and 28th
  5. Check out

STEP 2: SUBMIT PAYMENT

Fees are $95 per entry.

  1. Pay by credit or debit card
  2. Print invoice
  3. There is NO refund once payment is submitted

STEP 3: SUBMIT PRODUCT SAMPLES

  1. Ship product samples starting February 1st. Deadline to receive products is March 13, 2019.
  2. Be sure to include the invoice with your product samples.
  3. Send enough of your product for 15 small tasting samples for judging. About two packages/jars/boxes should be sufficient.
  4. Ship samples to the following address:

    New York, NY 10016

If your product is shelf-stable:
Ship samples to arrive February 1 – March 13 at 5:00pm ET

If your product is perishable:
Ship samples to arrive February 18 – March 13 at 5:00pm ET

Clearly mark on the exterior of the box:
PERISHABLE. Keep FROZEN or Keep REFRIGERATED

So we can ensure your samples are kept in professional-grade freezers and refrigerators at the SFA office.
